Customer retains one key at their premises while the other is kept by Cash Security Services (CSS). Your safe can only be opened when a CSS guard is present with the second key.
Two key safe security works by allowing you to deposit cash in the safe while it is still locked. 2 key safe allows you secure ‘one key’ access to a change drawer to maintain your tills and cash floats. At the same time money or valuables that have been duly recorded and deposited are not accessible without the presence of a CSS guard. This ensures that your excess cash is secured at all times.
